GlobalCenter maintains
multiple high-speed connections to tier-1 and tier-2 network
providers. Link speeds vary from 155mbps STM-1 to 1000mbps Gigabit
Ethernet.
GlobalCenter also maintains AUSIX (www.ausix.net)
an Australian Internet Exchange Point, where ISP's and network
providers can connect their networks together and exchange bandwidth
with high speed direct connections.
GlobalCenter maintains a 1000mbps Gigabit Ethernet connection
into the AUSIX switch fabric, which serves to increase our speed
of access to various parts of the Internet, improve overall
network connectivity and redundancy, and help to maintain our
carrier-neutral network access advantage.
