With Australia's increasing scrutiny of internet related activities and the ever growing popularity and utilisation of the internet by the public, our law makers are paying particular attention to activities involving:-

• Copyright infringements and related Intellectual Property concerns;
  
• Compliance with the Corporations Act;
  
• Protection of information under the Privacy Act;
  
• Infringements involving the Racial Discrimination Act
  
• Illegal activities under the Crimes Act (both State & Federal)

We encourage all of our clients to be aware of their activities and to ensure full compliance with relevant acts, laws and codes to avoid the possibility of prosecution under the same.

In many instances the penalties for failure to adhere with or comply to these respective laws and standards can be severe in nature.
